The Golden Lion opened its doors in 1994 as a direct source to the trade for the best residential and furniture hardware Europe has to offer. We have since expanded, in two locations, to include decorative accessories such as bronze lamps and sconces, antique furniture and chandeliers. We are also very proud to be the West coast distributor for the legendary French manufacturer Ateliers Perrault for high-end residential projects.

Fine hardware is the heart of our business and we are proud to offer a wide range of unique products in iron, steel, brass and bronze—including knobs, handles, hinges, escutcheons, appliqués, moldings and door furniture. Many items are handmade and hand-finished, and all are created to lend a special finishing touch to your project.

In order to offer a complete package to homebuilders we also import quality mortise locks to work with our door hardware, in addition to our own heavy-duty construction hinges—the TGL series with French or US blades.

If a custom item is required, such as a special hinge or appliqué, please let us know as we enjoy working with our manufacturers to reproduce antique items or create new models.
